Terms of Use, Limits of Liability and How Bet Abroad Earns Money
Using this site means accepting a few plain rules, including the fact that our links can earn us money.
These terms and conditions in plain words: written guides, no betting advice, and some links that pay us.
Bet Abroad is a set of written guides. It is not a bookmaker: it takes no bets and holds no money. Some links to operators can earn the site a commission when you register, so the site has a financial interest in them. You must be 18 or older, or the legal age where you live if that is higher, and you must check that betting is legal where you are. Nothing here is betting advice or a promise of profit, and betting can lose you money. By using the site you accept these terms.
What Bet Abroad is, and what it is not
Bet Abroad is a collection of written guides about betting with bookmakers, brokers and exchanges outside your home market. It is not an operator. It does not accept bets, does not hold your funds and does not provide any gambling service (there is no account to open with us and nothing to deposit). Everything on it is information.
The guides on operators are summaries. They gather official documents, published tests and user reports from forums, and they set out strengths, recurring weak points and the kind of bettor an operator suits. They are not tests carried out by the site: we do not claim to have opened an account, made a deposit or requested a withdrawal. The About page explains how the guides are built.
None of it is betting, financial, legal or tax advice. A guide can explain how a market works or what a broker charges, but it cannot know your bankroll, your limits or the law where you live, and it decides nothing for you. What to bet, where to sign up and whether to bet at all stay your choices.
Who can use this site
You must be 18 or older to use this site, or the legal betting age where you live if that is higher. If you are younger, please leave now.
Whether betting is legal depends on the country you live in (sometimes on the region too). Operators can also refuse customers from some countries, and some countries restrict or forbid what a guide describes. Checking your own law is your job, and it comes before you open any account. A guide that explains how something works does not say it is legal for you.
Nothing on this site is meant to help anyone get around a country restriction, an identity check or a self-exclusion. If you have excluded yourself from gambling, these guides are not for you. The responsible gambling page lists limits, tools and where to find help.
Do links here pay us? Yes
Some links in these guides lead to operators. When a reader registers with one of them after following such a link, the operator may pay a commission to the site. That makes Bet Abroad an affiliate of those operators in the marketing sense only; it is not a company related to them. The site therefore has a financial interest in whether you sign up.
Every link from a guide to an operator goes through a redirect page on this site. Those are the partner links. Only seven operators receive them, and they always appear in this fixed order, which carries no ranking:

Other operators, books and exchanges named in the guides (for instance the ones a broker gives access to) are described without a link from us. Following a partner link costs you nothing extra.
Plainly: if you sign up through one of those links, we may get paid, and that gives us a reason to want you to sign up. So read us with that in mind. Check each operator's own conditions (all of them, including the dull parts on withdrawals and closures), look up its licence with the regulator it names, and treat our guides as one source among several.
What you should not rely on us for
Please do not treat the site as a source of guarantees:
- Accuracy. The guides report what sources say, and sources change. Operators alter conditions, fees, limits, licences and accepted countries without notice, so a guide can be out of date. Check the operator's own page before you act.
- Availability. Pages, tools and links can change or disappear, and the site may be down at times.
- Results. Nothing here promises a profit. Betting carries a risk of loss, and you can lose everything you stake. A low margin or a good price does not remove that risk.
- Forecasts. Calculators and charts show arithmetic on the numbers they are given. They illustrate a calculation and predict nothing.
Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, the site and everything on it is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranty that it is accurate, complete, up to date or suitable for your purposes. To the same extent, Bet Abroad is not liable for:
- money you lose betting, including on a bet you placed after reading a guide;
- an account that an operator limits, suspends or closes;
- winnings that an operator holds back, voids or refuses to pay;
- the content, behaviour or availability of any other site, including the operators we link to;
- any loss you suffer from relying on a guide, a calculator or a chart.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits anything that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer under the law that applies to you.
Operators and other sites are not ours
When you sign up with an operator, your agreement is with that operator and follows its own conditions. Bet Abroad is not a party to that agreement and cannot change it. We cannot recover funds, reopen an account, lift a limit or speak for you in a dispute.
If something goes wrong with an account, complain to the operator first, in writing, and keep every reply. If that fails, go to the regulator or dispute body the operator names in its own conditions, and find that name before you deposit. The same goes for any other site we link to: what sits on the far side of a link is not ours.
Using the content and tools
The text, calculators and design of this site are protected by copyright. Personal use is fine: read the guides, print a page for yourself, share a link. Do not copy, republish or sell the content, and do not collect it with bots or other automated tools, unless you have asked first at the address below. Use the calculators for your own planning, and do not build a service on top of them.
If the rules change, and how to reach us
We may change these terms at any time. The version published on this page is the one that applies, and if you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new version.
